Extensions
We have prepared, designed and advised on countless extension applications.
From Permitted Development Certificates for single storey extensions, to additional floors or 8m prior notification for larger extensions , we have wealth of experience within a wide variety of local councils. We are well placed to advise you on your specific circumstances. Planning can be a minefield of regulation, and there are often exceptions to rules and various pitfalls. We can discuss, prepare plans and submit your planning application for any type of extension.
We can help with your commercial extensions too, be they Lawful Development Certificates or full planning applications. For single dwellings we are experienced in : home extensions and alterations; roof extensions; outbuildings; change of use; enforcement advice, annexes or holiday homes.
New Homes (up to 10)
Full planning applications for new homes require increasing attention to detail and understanding of sustainability. Minor residential developments often require input from specialist consultants - ecologists, arboriculturalists, traffic consultants, light consultants, energy, acoustics and more…
We have been working with these specialists, preparing schemes of this kind successfully for well over a decade. As standards and guidance rightly changed to help protect our environment, we have been helping secure planning permission for our clients’ sustainable homes. We can help you visualise your scheme from pre-application stages through to submission with 3D CGI models and renders.
Planning applications can refused by planning authorities for a wide variety of reasons. We can help you decide if there is a good case for an appeal; if its a good idea in your circumstance - and prepare and support your appeal if required.
Planning Appeals
A pre-application submission is an increasingly important and cost effective way to establish whether your proposal will be viewed positively by your local authority. It can help determine exactly which supporting reports and specialists may be required by a Council and are important parts of successful applications, big or small.
